Blue doors

Google Maps with Streetview is becoming increasingly important for identifying where I’ve taken photographs in London. So rather than tell you than these blue doors are somewhere near Old Street station, I can say that the building is on the junction of Leonard Street and Tabernacle Street.

Although the “no waiting” sign could be seen as an unwanted intrusion, I like the way that the blue of the sign matches the blue of the doors. And the reason for the soft shadows? It was raining.
