Near side of the moon

At about 8.00 one morning in October 2010, I noticed that the sky was clear and the moon was visible. Using my 70-300mm lens on full zoom, I managed to take this photograph of the moon. Although it's hand-held, there is enough detail to show the main features on the near side of the moon.
