Chelsea Pensioner

The Royal British Legion celebrated its 90th birthday on 11 June 2011 and I volunteered to take photographs at Royal British Legion Greenhithe in Kent. It was an all-day event with the highlight being a visit from Chelsea Pensioners who had travelled from the Royal Hospital Chelsea in London.
I took the photograph inside a room which had a mix of artificial and natural light. Although it was quite dark, I chose to use available light with a fast shutter speed and adjusted the exposure in Adobe Photoshop Elements.
