London Eye lights
22/11/2011
The London Eye was opened in March 2000 and it is the most popular paid-for tourist attraction in the UK. It rotates very slowly and from a distance is looks stationary. The challenge for a photographer is to convey a sense of movement and one way is to use a slow shutter speed. I didn't have a tripod so I balanced my camera on a wall near to the Royal Air Force memorial on Victoria Embankment.
I used Photoshop Elements 9 to remove two red lights, two stars, the end of a barge and a crane.
