Night patrol
29/01/2011
I had driven past the new Pembury hospital quite a few times before I ventured out with my camera and tripod (I took Arrows and lines on the same cold November evening in 2010). My inspiration came from Architectural Photography: Inside and Out by Jim Lowe.
To maximise the depth of field, I used an aperture of f22 which meant an exposure time of 3 seconds. To reduce the chance of camera shake I used a ten-second timer. Fortunately, two security guards walked into view just when the photograph was being taken.
