Through the balustrade

Through the balustrade

Dunorlan Park in Tunbridge Wells was laid out as the garden to a large house in the 1850s and 1860s by Robert Marnock on behalf of the owner Henry Reed. Although the house is no longer there, it is possible to walk along the terrace which is where the steps next to this balustrade lead.

The title for this photograph is a pun on the song "Through the barricades" by Spandau Ballet.
